Citrus Research & Technology Citrus R&T (ISSN 2177-5419 printed version / ISSN 2236-3122 online version) is published by Centro de Citricultura Sylvio Moreira of the Instituto Agronomico, Agência Paulista de Tecnologia dos Agronegócios of the Secretaria de Agricultura e Abastecimento of the São Paulo State, Brazil (APTA-SAA), with the purpose of publishing original articles, short communication, and reviews papers, which contribute to the information and advancement in all areas of citriculture.

The journal was initially knows as "Boletim Técnico", after "Anais da Semana da Citricultura" and, in 1980, established under the name Laranja (ISSN 0102-1907) – the first regular publication to address exclusively the citrus industry, and in 2010 had its named modified to Citrus Research & Technology.

Since its foundation, Citrus Research & Technology (ex-Laranja) has been regarded as a remarkable and permanent source of information to researchers, agronomist engineers, biologists, extensionists as well as citrus growers.

Citrus Research & Technology is affiliated to the Associação Brasileira de Editores Científicos (ABEC - the Brazilian Association of Scientific Editors).


Focus and scope

The Citrus Research & Technology journal publishes original articles in all areas of citriculture, including Administration and Economy, Breeding and Biotechnology, Crop Management, Entomology, Irrigation, Physiology, Phytopathology, Soils and Nutrition, and Post-harvest.
